The Staff take all care possible in an attempt to ensure that accidents are prevented.  However, accidents do occur at times and a definite procedure is followed -

(a)  the child is given first aid and the injury assessed.  If it is determined that more than superficial damage has been suffered, then

(b)  the parent is contacted.  If the parent cannot be reached, an ambulance will be called or medical attention sought from the Castle Hill Medical Centre in Old Northern Road, and

(c)  attempts to contact the parent or relative or emergency contact continue until successful.
