Last Friday, all students
from Years two to six travelled by bus to Castle Hill Show. We
were there to have fun and look at all the exhibits. I was in
Mr Hayward's group.
On our arrival we
strolled to the Animal Nursery. I loved holding the cute baby
guinea pigs. After that we bolted into the Education Pavilion
where there were High School exhibits of farm animals and produce.
My favourite part was holding the fluffy chicks. In a short
time we dawdled into the Craft pavilion. I saw lots of
interesting supplies.
Later on we roamed into
the Horticulture pavilion. I saw bonsai, beautiful floral
arrangements, flowers and huge, gigantic pumpkins. Following
that we raced to the Federation pavilion. I thought it was
great fun. Next we ambled into the Poultry pavilion. It
was very noisy there.
At noon it was time for
lunch. I sat with my friends. Then we bought our
showbags. After that we headed back to the carpark. I
thought it was brilliant and I'm looking forward to going there
again. I loved the baby guinea pigs most of all. |
