A variety of educational and social experiences will be organised for students as they progress through school. Details will be provided to parents of individual students invited to participate. The school aims to provide excursions based on work being undertaken each term.
Up until Year Five, excursions are of one-day duration. Overnight excursions are organised for students in Years Five and Six with Year Five students travelling to Bathurst/Hill End and Year Six students visiting Canberra. Excursions are made annually to the Castle Hill Show by Years 2-6.
Professional groups are invited to perform at the School on occasions. These groups allow for extension or greater depth of study of work being undertaken. An example is the Musica Viva Program for students in Years 2-6 whereby visiting music groups of national or international standard enable the School's Music Program to be enriched and so help students gain a greater understanding of the types of music performed.
The Life Education Program is also an annual feature of the School's Curriculum and the mobile van is visited by all students.
