Lester and Leslie before Leslie fell in love

Some time ago, Lester the Bear began his career at Castle Hill Public School as the School Mascot.  Lester found that he liked to travel and so began his many journeys both within Australia and overseas.  It wasn't long before Lester found that his workload was soooooo heavy that he had to ask his sister Leslie to join him and undertake some of the journeys with the girls and boys from Castle Hill Public School.  One day, Leslie went to Queensland and there she fell in love and decided to stay and so Lester asked his cousin Leonie to join him.  Lester and Leonie love to travel and so do lots of the families of Castle Hill Public School.  Mr Mullan, our school Principal, knows how much Lester and Leonie like to travel, so he lets them go away on holidays with girls and boys and their families.

Leonie likes looking cute

Take a look around Lester and Lesley's website to see what they're up to !  Our bears have visited England, Scotland,  Wales, France, Monaco, Germany, Finland, The Netherlands (Holland), Croatia, Bosnia-Herzogovina, Austria, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Vanuatu, New Zealand, Fiji and Chile as well as the Australian cities of Brisbane, Perth, Canberra and Bathurst.  They attend various functions to represent the school - for example, they were at Stewart House when the school received an award for fund-raising, they participated in the Tsunami Walkathon in the school playground, the Cancer Council's Relay for Life at the Castle Hill Showground, the School's 125th Anniversary Gala Night and Special Assembly, and the Orange Blossom Festival Parade to display the School's Key to the Shire.
